Personal Information

  • I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I obtained my PhD in Physics and Astronomy from Macquarie University, Australia, in 2014. My research interests include supermassive black holes, AGN feedback, galactic outflows, relativistic jets, multi-wavelength studies, galaxy formation and evolution, X-ray observations, and integral field spectroscopy.

  • I carried out my PhD research on observational astronomy at Macquarie University, Australia (2010-2014), where my studies focused on kinematic and photoionization modeling of ionized nebulae. I obtained my MSc in Plasma Physics from the Queen's University Belfast, UK in 2009, for my studies on linear and nonlinear electrostatic wave structures in multi-species suprathermal plasmas. I was an early-stage researcher with the University of Craiova, Romania, in 2008, involved in quantum field theory and gravitational theories.

  • My CV is available as a PDF here.

  • Link to my arXiv preprints here.

  • My computing packages: MPI_XSTAR, proEQUIB, pyEQUIB, AtomNeb, MGFIT
